Archetypes are these ideas, ideal examples of a type... quintessence. Almost every super hero or hero in general, points back to the idea of someone who does ultimate good. The story behind our song Unshakable was that our friend Mark Covert came over one day to write with us and he started playing this bass line and we loved it and it started us down this road of a groove. So I, Lang, could hear where I thought it should go and came up with the different parts, (a verse, chorus and bridge) and the 3 of us got back together again and started working on a lyric. Mark would come up with word pictures that were so different from mine; I loved that about him. The 3 of us had been talking about our childhoods and how we grew up with superheroes on Saturday morning cartoons. Back then, they were new pictures to our young imaginations that there was someone out there who would do ultimate good. It's not a big leap, to realize that they all point to one; the One. It's the story of the longing of our hearts.... of the ultimate super hero, the Lord Jesus!
